Tanzania

Travelling in Tanzania was a big highlight of my life, but that was before the days of the internet, media and blogs. Since that time I have only had one trip to Tanzania, visiting Arusha, Moshi, Dar-es-salam and Zanzibar. I will share a few of the many pictures I have of the “gist of Tanzania“. I have a separate page on Kili and Zanzibar.

These pictures capture this “gist of Tanzania” away from the cities and travelling on the highways to the villages and the beaches where the gist of African life is still very much alive in the food scene, the markets and the culture always vocalizing a vision of slowly enjoying life. As the Africans would say “hurry hurry has no blessing”.

My best part of Tanzania was the fruit markets :)
